HADRIAN’S WALL
A guided tour to see Hadrian’s Wall. We visit the exciting and well-presented Roman fort of Vindolanda, where active archaeology goes on throughout the summer. Included is a visit to the excellent museum showing some of the unique artefacts found on the site over the last 40 years, as well as the extensive remains of the buildings of the fort, bath house and civilian settlement.
