DEPARTURE DAY
We depart from the Southwest early Saturday morning and travel to our port for the ferry crossing to Rosslare, Ireland. Our first overnight is spent at the Treacy’s Hotel & Spa in Waterford.
BLARNEY
On to Killarney, stopping at Blarney. Chance to kiss the Blarney Stone or visit the Blarney Woollen Mills.
KENMARE
“Neidin”,its Gaelic name, means “Little Nest”. So named because of its fine setting, nestling as it does among the mountains of Cork & Kerry. Kenmare has been designated a heritage town and the area is rich in tradition. Enjoy spectacular views as we drive through the mountains. Picturesque Kenmare is a fine example of one of Ireland’s few planned towns. It has a population of only 1200 and is home to Weavers, Potters, Silversmiths and of course the famous Kenmare Needlepoint Lace.

We leave Killarney and return through the land of Cork, stopping at Mallow and Cahir in County Tipperary. Arriving in Waterford we visit Waterford Crystal before spending our last night staying at the Dooleys Hotel RETURN DAY From Waterford, a short drive to our morning ferry crossing back to South Wales. We return home early evening
