On May to October holidays we continue, for those that wish, to Clovelly, a world famous village. The single cobbled high street winds its way down the hillside through traditional whitewashed cottages festooned with fuchsias and geraniums, mto a quaint harbour. Traffic is banned, with visitors parking at the hill top adjacent to the Visitor Centre. For a small fee, a Landrover service ferries visitors up and down the steep hill via a back road.
