HOLIDAY ITINERARY

A Feature Packed Holiday. The holiday includes three wonderful days of excursions with entrances to all the main attractions and escorted by an experienced local courier full of wonderful stories.

BLACKPOOL Travel along the motorways to arrive into Blackpool for overnight stop. Evening at leisure to stroll the promenade or visit a show. (Please note: September and October holidays coincide with the spectacular Blackpool illuminations)

DOUGLAS We head for Heysham for our ferry to Douglas, capital of the Isle of Man. The crossing takes approx. 3 1/2 hours. Your coach will be travelling with you so no problems with your luggage. We arrive at our hotel near 7pm.

FULL DAY ISLAND TOUR. Peel – Ramsey – St. Johns, site of Tyndwald, home of the islands ancient parliament. Returning via the beautiful west coast through Patrick and over the spectacular South Barrule.

FULL DAY DRIVE TO DOUGLAS. Chance to ride along the promenade in one of the famous horse drawn trams or visit the tram museum.

LAXEY, On to the historic mining village of Laxey, home of the ‘Lady Isabella’, the world’s largest working water wheel.

SNAEFELL MOUNTAIN RAILWAY We take you to the top of Snaefell on the mountain railway – wonderful views.

A WONDERFUL FEATURE DAY OF YESTERYEAR. First, we board the Isle of Man Steam Train, enjoy the romantic travel of days gone by as we travel to Castletown - home of the medieval Castle Rushen (entrance included). Time to explore the delightful harbour and stalls of market day. Plus, the historic attractions of Cregneash and Port St Mary round off our Island adventure.

DEPARTURE After an early breakfast we catch the morning ferry. Arrive into Heysham at midday. We then travel to the south west to arrive home early evening.
