The 3 Star Ramada Jarvis Hotel - Discover
the delights of the Gower’s coast and countryside
from the 3 Star Ramada Jarvis Hotel; central for
our excursions. Just a few miles away is Swansea’s
marina, the Botanical Gardens and the hills of the
Brecon Beacons. The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna
gymnasium and has been extensively refurbished with
bar, restaurant and lounge areas in a contemporary
style for comfort.

EXCURSIONS
INCLUDE
CARDIFF & SWANSEA We travel to
Swansea visiting the Capital of Wales, Cardiff en-route,
arriving at our hotel early evening. After dinner
you can relax and unwind in the pleasant lounge/bar
and enjoy the tales of your fellow travellers.
LAUGHARNE where you can see the famous
Boat House (entry included) and the writing shed where
Dylan Thomas and his wife Caitlin spent many years,
(Please note the Boathouse has steps and no disabled
access)
CARMARTHEN, a bustling county town with
over 2,000 years of history and claims to be the birthplace
of Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian legend. We return
to the hotel for our evening meal.
MUMBLES, Welsh home of Catherine Zeta
Jones, a popular destination for both locals and visitors.
Steeped in Victorian Charm, the village offers a host
of modern attractions, as well as a vibrant shopping
centre, superb cafes and restaurants, a delightful
stroll on a summers evening.
GOWER PENINSULAR. Sweeping sandy beaches,
spectacular limestone cliffs complemented by rolling
farmland, woodlands and sandstone ridges. The north
Gower coast is more open in character with extensive
areas of saltmarsh and wetland, an internationally
recognised habitat for wildfowl. Visiting Rhossilli
and Worms Head, Oxwich Bay, and passing King Arthur’s
Stone on Cefn Bryn as seen on TV’s Britains Favourite
