YOUR HOTEL

The Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club. Situated on the edge of Fort William, at the foot of Ben Nevis, the hotel provides a warm Scottish Welcome. In the entertainment room enjoy dancing, and occasional cabaret. The leisure centre with indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, is the perfect place to unwind. The hotel has no lift but has a number of ground floor rooms.

DEPARTURE DAY - SUNDAY Today we depart early morning. We stop en-route in Scotland for a meal and a break. Time to relax before a leisurely drive to Fort William, arriving mid evening.

ISLE of SKYE A feature day to the ISLE of SKYE. A wonderful tour taking us past Eilean Donan Castle to Kyle of Lochalsh for a mid-morning crossing to Skye. Journey on through the mountains to the town of Portree, nestled in famous scenery. More breathtaking views as we head south to Armadale and the afternoon crossing to Malaig. Continuing along the famous route of the Malaig railway following Loch Eil and Loch Eilt and back to Fort William. (Please note where the Malaig ferry is not running, the return journey will be via the Kyle of Lochalsh, not including Malaig).

OBAN Along the banks of Loch Linnhe to Oban, gateway to the islands.

INVERNESS We head for the capital of the Highlands, Inverness. Passing through the Great Glen and along the banks of Loch Ness. Keep your cameras at the ready to capture Nessie. Make history and headline news with an authenticated photo.

FORT WILLIAM A day to enjoy the delights of Fort William. Take an optional journey on the famous Malaig Railway. Ride the new cable car on the Ben Nevis Range. Or, enjoy our included coach excursion into the local mountains for fabulous scenic sights known only by the local clans (one of whome will join us for tails of yesteryear).

SCOTTISH FAREWELL DAY We leave Fort William for a special Scottish day. Enjoying the beauty of the Highlands we pass through the mystical Glencoe and on along the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Calling in to Antartex, one of the few Scottish working woollen mills. Of course, we must also include a Whisky Tasting Experience at the Glengoyne Distillery.
